Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator
is pleased to announce our upcoming
fundraiser, "Dining 4 Diaspora"
Date: Friday, September 26, 2008
Time: 7:00 pm-9:00 pm
Place: Yours or a friend's home
With: Great friends, both new and old
Cost: $250 per plate (yes, you can donate more)
Goal: $2,500 per home
Overall Goal: $25,000 RSVP requested
How it works:
1. Ten hosts invite ten friends
over for dinner. You don't need
to be formal, just have fun. It
can be thematic, colorful, B-B-Q,
beach, whatever you wish. As with
art, each home will be unique,
entertaining and fun.
2. An artist will attend each home,
along with a significant piece of their
own donated work. One guest from
each home will leave with a beautiful,
original piece of art as our way of
saying thank-you for your continued support.
3. If you would like to attend a dinner and
don't have a home to join,
a) Consider hosting one yourself and
inviting ten (or more) friends.
b) Call the gallery and we will find
a home for you.
